Forest Fungi Guide

Introduction

I created this guide way back in 2006 when I was going out with our local Botanical Society, who would ask for the names of the fungi I had stopped to photograph. Although I recognised most, having such a poor memory, I could never recall the Latin names, so this was my way of overcoming this.

Once people became aware of my guide, they all wanted a copy, so I had it commercially printed and made available. Unfortunately, time has caught up with it, with DNA sequencing increasingly used to identify our native fungi. Resulting in names changing at such an alarming rate that it's impossible to keep the book up to date.

After comments from others, I have decided to optimise this guide for use on a smart device (cell phone). In the form of a PDF file, and to make this a free download. It would be appreciated if you could make a small donation of say $5 to cover some of my costs. Is the price of a coffee too much to ask for? My bank account is: ASB 12-3060-0188766-00
