As found and photographed in the bush the plasmodium had just started to form up into fruiting bodies

Taken two hours later as soon as I returned home from the bush.

Taken a half hour after the last.

Again a half hour since the last photo.

This time one hour after the last photo.

Once again a half hour after the last.

One hour after the last photo.

Half hour after the one above at which point I ran out of light.

The following morning the myxo was ready to disperse its spores.
