Tremellodendropsis flagelliformis
(Berk.) D.A. Crawford 1954
Description:
Three species are recorded in New Zealand, with one that has only a single old collection, so it's disregarded. The other two are T. pusio and T. flagelliformis. Identifying which species you have is difficult, even with a microscope, as these are quite variable and even the mycologist seems to have trouble. T. flagelliformis is the most common and tends to be the default name.
