Crepidotus species
“Podocarp-pale-fan”
Description:
A small, pale, fan‑shaped Crepidotus growing on podocarp wood, with a finely tomentose cap and buff gills that radiate from a lateral attachment point.

Pileus: 25mm dia., Pale cream to buff, with a fine, even tomentum giving a matte appearance. Margin even, slightly inrolled when young, later straight. No zonation or strong colour change.
Lamellae: Radiating from the lateral point of attachment, moderately close. Pale yellow‑buff in your specimen — likely immature, as mature spores would turn them ochre‑brown. Edges even, no serration visible. Running out from the point of attachment.
