Description:
Minute apothecia, 0.2-0.8 mm diam., sessile or shortly stipitate, scattered or in small groups on the host cap, gills, or stipe surface. Disc bright yellow to orange‑yellow, sometimes slightly translucent; margin even, paler. Receptacle soft, waxy, often slightly depressed centrally.

Asci: Cylindrical to clavate, 8‑spored, with a distinct apical ring; 40-70 x 4-6 µm.
Ascospores: Hyaline, filiform, multiseptate (typically 5-12 septa), 30-60 x 1-1.5 µm; often fragmenting into part‑spores at maturity.
Paraphyses: Slender, slightly enlarged at tips, sometimes containing yellowish pigments.
Asexual morph: Not commonly observed; simple phialidic conidiogenous cells when present.

Habitat: Found on agarics in damp forest litter, rotting wood, or mossy ground.
